Reduced reporting delays by restructuring how a five-person grant team tracked tasks, deadlines, and owner handoffs. Built the system in Airtable with automated reminders and a shared status view.
Elena helps civic and climate organizations replace fragmented processes with clear operating systems. Her work blends service design, stakeholder research, and on-the-ground implementation to make programs actually run the way they were designed to.

Built a public-facing resource directory through community interviews and usability testing with residents. Mapped 42 food access resources and partnered with two local agencies to keep the data current.
Documented recurring workflows so that a 12-person volunteer team could onboard independently. Reduced the time from first shift to full productivity by two weeks and eliminated five recurring bottlenecks.
"Elena brings order to complex work without losing sight of the people the system needs to serve. She asks the right questions before she starts building anything."

About
I'm a systems-minded strategist with hands-on experience in climate nonprofits, campus operations, and public-sector research. I got into this work because I kept seeing programs that had the right values and the wrong infrastructure, the mission was clear but the operations weren't built to support it.
I care about making it easier for mission-driven teams to do their actual work. That usually means understanding the real process first, not the process that's written down, and then building something that fits how people actually operate.
